Kaonke is a small village around 7 km from
Ludhiana. This village is a major Sikh site, believed to have been blessed by the visits of Guru Nanak and
Guru Hargobind. Gurdwara Boharh Sahib, built in 1912, is the prime attraction. The village is also famous as the birth place of Bhai Gurdev Singh, the former caretaker of Akal Takht Sahib.
