Kanta Benia village is on the way to Kakadwip from Diamond Harbor, in
South 24 Parganas District. A large number of stone images, pillars and
terracotta images have been found from this village, which mostly includes the deities of
Vishnu, Vasudeva and
Ganesh. The village is famous for its Parshwanath temple, which houses a huge image of Parshwanath.
