Kankrar Jhal is a crab dish of
West Bengal. The crab is discarded of its shell and fried. Bay leaves, ginger paste, garlic, tomatoes, potatoes, curry powder, sugar and onions are slightly fried in oil. Sauteed Crab is cooked in this mixture with required water. Kankrar Jhal is garnished with coriander leaves and spice powder before serving. This dish needs to be served hot.
