Kanjirapuzha is a beautiful village located in Palakkad District of Kerala. It is about 40 km away from Palakkad, the district headquarters.
The place, which is surrounded by hills, is famous for the Kanjirapuzha Reservoir. During the winter season, the mist-draped mountains make Kanjirapuzha a picturesque landscape. Kanjirapuzha River, a major tributary of the Chaliyar River, flows through this village.
Vettilachola (an evergreen forest) and the three islands in the reservoir with plenty of fish grown by the fisheries department are other attractions here.
