Kanjamalai Subramanyar Temple is located at
Kanjamalai in
Salem District. This temple is associated with the great saints known as Sidhars.
Devotees usually visit this temple after having a bath in the waters of the streams traversing the Kanjamalai. According to myth, a devotee of Lord Shiva, Kanjamalai Siddhar, attained a formless form here. Another legend is that Tirumoolar, one of the Sidhars, regained his youth at this temple.
