Kanina is an ancient town situated 17 km north-east of
Mahendragarh, in
Haryana. The town was once under the possession of the ruler of Nabha. It is now one of the important grain markets in
Mahendragarh District.
Major tourist attractions include Jal Mahal, Chor Gumbad, Birbal Ka Chhatta and Mausoleum of Ibrahim Khan in Mahendragarh.
Indira Gandhi International Airport is about 165 km from Mahendragarh. Kanina Railway Station is on the Rewari-
Loharu rail route. By road, Kanina is linked with Rewari, Bhiwani, Ajmer and Jaipur.
