Kanika is located in
Sundargarh District of
Orissa. It is about 10 km south of Hemagiri.
It is a scenic village covered by teak forests and hills on all sides. Junagarh Fort and Manikmoda Caves are nearby attractions.
Hemagiri Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
