With an altitude of 6,400 m, Kangyaze Peak is situated south-east of
Leh in
Jammu and Kashmir. It stands above the meadows of Nimaling and the pass of
Kongmaru La offers beautiful views of Kangyaze. There is a short and gradual descent till the meadows of Nimaling (4650 m).
