Kanda

Kanda is a small town located on the outskirts of Shimla (around 7 km south-west) in Shimla District. Dharat is around 1 km west and Ghanaharet is 2 km north. Hatnati, Panci, Barohi and Jutogh are other neighbouring towns. Among the attractions around Kanda are Jakhu Temple, Jakhoo Hill, Himachal State Museum, Mashobra, Seog Forest, Mahasu Peak and Kufri. Naldehra Golf Course and the Mall in Shimla are also easily accessible from here. Summer Hill Railway Station serves the town and the nearest airport is Shimla Airport. The place can also be accessed via Shimla Bus Station and Shimla Railway Station.
