Kanakval Kalan




Kanakval Kalan, popularly known as Kanakval Bhariguah, is a village 25 km south-west of Sunam in Sangrur District. Like many villages in Punjab, this village is also famous for a Sikh shrine. It is believed that Guru Tegh Bahadur halted in the village during his journey though the Malva region. Sunam Railway Station is the nearest railway station (25 km) and the nearest airport is at Ludhiana.
