Kalyana Mahal is one of the most attractive ruins in the
Genji Fort, a 9th century fort located at Gingee in
Viluppuram District of
Tamil Nadu. Built in Indo-Islamic style, it consists of a square court, surrounded by rooms for the ladies of the Governors household. Situated in the middle of the court is a 27 m high square tower, built of stone. The tower features a pyramidal roof. The rooms in this tower resembles to other
