Kalu River




Kalu River, locally known as Ganol, flows through the West Garo Hills District in Meghalaya. It originates from the Tura Peak and flows towards the west. In the west, it enters the Goalpara District after passing through Damalgre, Garobadha and Rangapani.

Dilni River and Rongram River are its main tributaries. Among the other rivers in Garo Hills, only Kalu and Krishnai river are navigable.
