Kalimpong Bazaar offers everything from Buddhist
Thangkas, Bhutanese weaves, Chinese lanterns, hand-stitched clothing, copperware, hand-beaten silver, local cheddar-type cheese and lollypops, Lepcha daggers, and masks at
Kalimpong in
Darjeeling District. The villagers gather to sell their local costume on the bi-weekly haat (fair). On the haat days, you can also shop for knitted garments, carpets, stone-studded metal curios and masks.
