Kalanaur is a small town located on the left bank of the Yamuna, in Yamunanagar District. It lies on the outskirts of Yamunanagar, about 8 km south of Jagadhri.

Kalanaur Bridge, which connects Haryana and Uttar Pradesh across the Yamuna River, is the major landmark.
