Kala Sanghian village situated 13 km east of
Kapurthala, is a major pilgrim center of the Sikhs. The place was sanctified by the visit of
Guru Hargobind.
There is an ancient ber tree, which is a major focus of attention. Gurdwara Tahli Sahib, first constructed by the ruler of Kapurthala is located here. The village celebrates all major Sikh festivals with great fervor and devotion. Every year, famous wrestlers from different parts of the country assemble in this village to wrestle. Hanuman Mandir, Baba Kan Dass Temple and Gurdwara Ghanta Gha are other attractions.
Kapurthala Railway Station is the major railway station nearby.
