A historic site in
Sawai Madhopur District of
Rajasthan, Kakod is located 22 km from the
Sawai Madhopur town.
The prime attraction here is an old fort, which was once the official residence of Rao Raja of Uniyara. An eventful battle held here between the Marathas and Jaipur rulers during the 18th century.
At a distance of 10 km is Hathi Bhata, which is noted for a massive elephant structure carved out of rock.
