Kakochang Waterfalls




Kakochang Waterfalls is located about 13 km from Bokakhat in Jorhat District of Assam. It lies in between Kaziranga National Park and Bokakhat. It is an important picnic spot where tourists can enjoy picturesque views of the nature along with the forests and hills. Nearby attractions include the ruins of the ancient Numaligarh or the Deoparbat, the tea gardens of Hatikhuli, Methoni, Difalu and Behora Borchapori and also the coffee and rubber plantations. The nearest railway stations are Rangia and Furkating. The nearest airports are at Guwahati and Jorhat.
