Kakkad Maha Ganapathi Temple is a delightful shrine located at
Kunnamkulam in
Thrissur District of
Kerala. It is at a distance of one kilometer from Kunnamkulam Bus Station.
This ancient temple enshrines the idols of Lord Ganesh and Vettakkorumakan (Lord Shiva). Close to the temple are the Government Rest House and the Village office.
Kunnamkulam is about 22 km north of Thrissur, the cultural capital of the state. Guruvayoor Railway Station is the nearest railhead, 12 km to the north-east.
