Kakarbagh

Kakarbagh is a charming village in Srinagar District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is about six kilometers north of Srinagar and is at an altitude of 5,164 ft above sea level.

Tangpura in the west, Naushera in the north, Gil Sar in the east and Zadibal in the south form the neighboring places. Anchar Lake and Sindh Nallah, Zadibal Imambara, Shankaracharya Temple, Mughal Gardens, Dal and Nagin lakes are the nearby places of tourist importance.

By road, Kakarbagh is approachable from Srinagar and Vicharnag. The nearest railhead is Udhampur Railway Station.
