Kaikini




Kaikini is an ancient town, situated 13 km from Bhatkal. It was a bee-hive of Vaisya (traders) activities during the Vijayanagar period. The town has a Jain shrine named Parshwanath Basadi with 24 engravings.

Kaikini lies on the Bhatkal- Honnavar Road. Nearby railway stations Bhatkal and Honnavar are on the Konkan line.
