Kadappattoor




Kadappattoor, a picturesque village situated on the banks of the Meenachil River, is located 30 km east of Kottayam. Blessed with rubber plantations, coconut palms and arecanut trees, Kadappattoor is a place of stunning natural beauty. The majority of the people depend mainly on agriculture for their livelihood. Rubber, coconut, pepper and arecanuts are the major agricultural produces. Kadappattoor Mahadeva Temple is the important landmark of this village. People belonging to all religions are allowed entry into the temple.

Kottayam Railway Station is the major railway station and Cochin International Airport is the closest airport. Regular buses are available from Kottayam Bus Station to Kadappattoor.
