Kadammanitta Patayani is a festival of ten days, celebrated in the Malayalam month of
Medam (April). This festival is held at
Kadammanitta village. The last day of the festival is very auspicious because it is celebrated as'Pathamudayam'. The remarkable feature of this festival is Patayani, a ritual art form of
Kerala, which is performed on this occasion.
