Ka Shad Lehniam Iewduh




Ka Shad Lehniam Iewduh is a religious dance of Meghalaya. It is performed annually at Iewduh (Barabazar) by the Mylliem Syiemship. It is mainly celebrated to propitiate the market deity for blessed and peaceful trade. Dancing is performed after the goat sacrifice to the accompaniment of musical instruments such as drums and flutes.
