K Sreenivasan Art Gallery and Textile Museum is situated at
Coimbatore, in
Tamil Nadu. The museum has an art gallery which exhibits paintings, sculptures and objects of art both modern and traditional, good reproductions of European and other overseas art. The textile gallery house in the museum showcases the history of textile technology - the developments are illustrated through drawings, charts as well as working models. Also on display are various models of handlooms, different methods of yarn and fabric formation, and historical costumes of India - illustrated through drawings.
