Junagadh Museum is situated in
Sakar Bagh in the
Junagadh District of
Gujarat. The museum houses a fabulous collection of prehistoric and proto-historic stone, bone implements, manuscripts and stone sculptures including a standing statue of
Lord Vishnu. Stone and copper inscriptions, silverware, glass, porcelain, woodcarving, textiles and folk art are also on exhibit.
Junagadh Junction Railway Station, on the Veraval-Rajkot railway line, is the nearest railhead.
