Judah Hyam Hall




The Judah Hyam Hall in New Delhi was built in 1956, next to the Jewish cemetery. It is the only functioning synagogue in the capital city of India. Judah Hyam Hall is a place of worship for the Jews in the city. It is a place where Delhi's Jewish community celebrates all social and religious festivals. This synagogue is the only one where men and women can sit together for services. Judah Hyam Hall also serves as a center for Jewish studies.
