Joginatha Temple is a highly revered shrine, located at
Jogipet, about 38 km from
Medak, in
Andhra Pradesh. The presiding deity here is Joginatha. Most noteworthy feature of the temple is that, both
Lord Shiva and
Goddess Parvati stand side by side in the form of lingams (
Shivling) without Panivattam (pedestal).
Joginatha Festival, celebrated here for 11 days during March and April, is a major draw.
