Jnana-Pravaha is located at Varanasi city of
Uttar Pradesh. Established in the year 1996, it is a center for Cultural Studies that aims at promoting Indian Culture. Research facilties are offered on early and obscure scripts, Indian
terracottas, early Indian coins, Mathura Art and Iconography, Mauryan and Shungan Art, Western Indian Cave Architecture, Buddhism and Gandhara Art, and many more. Projects are done to study the fairs and festivals of India,and the Cultural Ethos of Kashi.
Hostel facilities are arranged for guest speakers, artists, researchers, course participants, and visiting scholars. The campus houses a well-stocked library with books on Indian History, Arts, Culture, Sanskrit Literature, Philosophy, and various other related subjects. The center also has a museum that has a good collection of coins, miniature paintings, sculptures, terracotta, musical instruments, and many art and decorative collections.
