The Jiwan Jyoti Christian Hospital was started in 1930 by Christian missionaries of the Bible Churchmen's Missionary Society. It is a hundred bedded hospital and is now managed by the Emmanuel Hospital Association. The hospital offers services in general surgery, obstetrics, pediatrics, ophthalmic services, dental services, tuberculosis and leprosy. Guest rooms are available for visitors.
