Gompa, an ancient monastery located 13 km from
Kaza in
Himachal Pradesh.
A similar festival is celebrated in the same month at the monasteries of Tabo, Dankar and Pin Spiti. These festivals are celebrated to protect people from diseases and epidemics, and to ensure health, happiness and prosperity.
