Jharasangam

Jharasangam is a town in Medak District of Andhra Pradesh. It is to the south-west of Medak and north-west of Sangareddy – the district headquarters.

The prime attraction here is Sangameswara Swamy Temple dedicated to the Trimuthi – the united form of Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma.

Zahirabad to the south-west, Malkapur to the south, Kesaram to the north-east and Mettalkunta to the north-west are among the neighboring places.

National Highway 9 passes through Jharasangam. Zahirabad Railway Station is the nearest railhead. Hyderabad Airport is the nearest airport.
