Jhansa

Jhansa is a small village on the banks of the Markanda River, in Kurukshetra District. It is 5 km east of Ismailabad and 16 km north-west of Thanesar. Narwana branch of the Western Yamuna Canal flows close to Jhansa.

Major point of attraction nearby is Ma Bhadra Kali Temple - an ancient shrine dedicated to Goddess Sati.

Nearest airport is Chandigarh Airport. Shahabad Railway Station, on the Kurukshetra-Ambala line, is the nearest railway station.
