Jesus and Mary College was established in 1968. It is considered as one of the premier colleges of the
University of Delhi. The college has 2,400 regular students, 1,200 non-collegiate students and 2,000 IGNOU students. This is a Liberal Arts and Commerce college having 11 departments. The college provides under graduate and post graduate courses in various subjects.
Extending over an area of 14 acre, Jesus and Mary College has a large teaching block with separate tutorial rooms, a well-equipped psychology laboratory, counseling-cum-vocational guidance cell, canteen and games rooms. The college houses a spacious library with a seating capacity of about 250 students. The library carries over 40,000 books and a wide range of periodicals and journals. Separate sports fields are available for hockey, football and cricket.
