Jeeva Jyothi, started in 1994, is a non governmental organization that works for the betterment of poor children, youth and women. It is situated on Chinnakulandai Main Street, at Perambur, in

Tamil Nadu. The organization serves handicapped children, workers in small industries, and children of pavement and slum dwellers. Jeeva Jyothi mainly focuses in
Chennai and
Tiruvallur districts.
The organization has a short stay home, non formal education centers and vocational training centers. Vocational training in welding, screen printing and carpentry are arranged for children above 14-years of age. Jeeva Jyothi raises funds through local and international bodies.
