Jeen Mata fair is held at the Jeen Mata temple in
Sikar District. This fair takes place on the occasion of ‘
Durga Puja.’
Goddess Jeen Mata, an incarnation of
Goddess Kali, is an important deity of
Rajasthan. This goddess is mostly worshipped by the
Rajputs and
Minas. Goats and buffaloes are sacrificed and their blood is offered to the goddess along with wine.
