Jaypee University of Information Technology is located at Waknaghat in
Solan District.
It offers courses leading to B Tech in the disciplines of information technology, electronics and communication engineering, computer science and engineering, biotechnology, bioinformatics, chemical and biochemical engineering, and civil infrastructure engineering. A training and placement cell has also been organized.
The university has entered into the collaboration with the University Of California, Berkeley USA, which includes curriculum design, faculty profiles and establishment of Quality Practices.
