Jawala Devi Temple is situated at Mahasar in
Mahendragarh District. Devotees offer wine to the image of the goddess Jawala Devi. The people visit the temple for performing the mundan ceremony (hair offering) of their babies.
There is a custom of newly married couple to pay respect to the goddess for a happy married life. Jawala Devi fair is celebrated in March - April.
