The fascinating world of astronomy is unfolded at the Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium in
Bangalore.
The main attraction here is the ‘Sky Theatre Show,’ which displays the wonders of the solar system. The description is provided both in Kannada and English. Apart from the amazing voyage through space in the main program, one can learn more about the stars and universe through the special support exhibition. On permanent display is a fascinating festival of celestial colors. The rich red of the Horsehead Nebula and the rainbow hues of the region called Rho Ophiuchi are the permanent attractions.
The planetarium has a science center where one can discover more by participating in its activities. At regular intervals, exhibitions titled 'Science in Action' are held here.
