Jawad is a charming town in Neemuch District and is located near the district's border with Rajasthan, in Madhya Pradesh. The district headquarters town, Neemuch is 20 km north. Nayagaon is the nearest town situated 15 km north-east.
Jawad is famous for Nandana prints, which are characterised by traditional motifs in fast colors. Sukhanand Mahadev at Neemuch and Pratapgarh at Chittorgarh are excursion points outside Jawad.
