Jateshwar Mahadev Temple is situated at
Jatwahar village on Rupnagar -Nurpurbedi road, about 5 km from village Bains in
Rupnagar District of
Punjab. Widely known as Shiv Mandir Jatwahar, this ancient temple is devoted to
Lord Shiva.
Today the temple is held in high esteem and thousands of devotees from various parts of Punjab and also from the adjoining states of Haryana and Himachal Pradesh visit this temple. Shivratri Fair is celebrated here annually during the month of February. Nearby at Mojowal on Nangal-Bhalan road lies another temple called Shiv Mandir.
