Jarod

Jarod is a small town in Vidisha District of Madhya Pradesh. It is located 42 km south-east of Sironj, 38 km north of Korwai and 84 km from the district headquarters, Vidisha. The state capital, Bhopal is about 146 km from Jarod.

Udaigiri Caves, Halali Dam, Giridhari Temple, Gyraspur Jain Temple and the monasteries and temples at Sanchi are among the places to visit.
