Jaonli is a majestic peak which lies at the south of the Gangotri group of mountains in the watershed between the
Jaonli and Khatling glaciers in
Uttaranchal. This lofty peak is situated at an altitude of 6,632 m above the mean sea level. Jaonli Peak, the trekker’s delight, was first ascended by members from the famous Indian public institution, the
Doon School.
