Janla is a small town on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar, in Khordha District of Orissa. It is on the National Highway 5 and is bounded by Mansingpatana (10 km) in the west, Katni (8 km) in the north, Khandagiri (9 km) in the east and Jatani (8 km) in the south.
The premier educational institutions in this area include Gandhi Dental College, Ranjita Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology and Patitapaban Institute of Technology.
