Janki Devi Memorial College for women was started in 1959 by the famous Gandhian Shri Brij Krishan Chandiwala in memory of his mother Smt. Janki Devi. It is located at Sir Gangaram Hospital Marg,
New Delhi.
The college departments include Philosophy, Political Science, Maths, History, Economics, Sanskrit, Hindi, English, Sociology and Commerce. Vocational training in home management, cookery, textile and fashion designing, beauty culture, commercial art, and computer applications are also offered. The college gives importance for sports and extra-curricular activities.
