Jani is a prominent town situated in
Uttar Pradesh’s north-western district of
Meerut. This town, which lies on the
Meerut-
Baghpat road, is about 15 km from the district headquarters of Meerut.
Baleni and Dhaulri to the west, Rasulpur Rohta and Bhola to the north, Panchli to the east and Niwari to the south are the important towns nearby.
From Jani, tourists can visit Hastinapur Sanctuary and Nangli Tirth.
Located on the main road connecting two important cities, Meerut and Baghpat, Jani is well linked. All important state transport buses from different parts of the state pass through this town. Meerut City Railway Station and Indira Gandhi International Airport are the nearest access points for Jani.
