James Street, popularly known as the Mahatma Gandhi Road, is one of the major commercial areas in
Secunderabad of
Andhra Pradesh. Osman Ali Khan – the last Nizam of
Hyderabad – and Salar Jung III were regular customers to this place. Leading business men engross here in selling and buying of products. The street is dotted with huge buildings including clock tower edifice, which was once a security post and now a police station. Everything from jewelry and textiles to handicrafts and toys can be shopped here.
