Jamalpur

Jamalpur is a small town near the Indo-Bangladesh border in South Dinajpur District of West Bengal. Hilli is approximately 13 km to its north. The towns situated in close proximity to Jamalpur are Balurghat, Patiram and Bhatra.

Patiram Thakur Estate, Tapan Dighi, Balurghat College Museum and Sarongbari (a small forest) are the points of tourist interest.

The nearest airport and railway station are Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport and Malda Town Railway Station respectively.
