Jalpesh Mela is a month long fair held at Jalpesh near
Mainaguri in
Jalpaiguri District of
West Bengal. It is celebrated on the occasion of
Shivaratri (February–March).
This mela takes place at the ancient Shiva temple here. A large number of devotees from far and near come to Jalpesh to worship Lord Jalpeswara (Lord Shiva).
