Jai Hind College in

Maharashtra, is a college of the Sindhi community, with a futuristic vision. It is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and offers bachelor degree courses in various disciplines of Arts, Science and Commerce. Postgraduate courses on English literature, chemistry, and botany are also offered.
The college has tie-ups with several international institutions. These include New Jersey Institute of Technology that offers a bachelors degree in Management, and Niagara Community College that offers an associate 1-year degree. Links have also been established with Union College, Schenectady, New York, University of West Georgia, University of North Carolina and Dunedin School of Education, New Zealand.
Since its inception in 1948, the college has made sustained efforts to modernise and upgrade its infrastructure. It now has an advanced library and audiovisual center, an auditorium, and well-equipped laboratories. The college gives great impetus to extra-curricular activities of the students.
