Jaghera is a small hamlet situated 4 km south of Ahmadgarh in
Ludhiana District. This village is popularly known as Nanakpur Jaghera. Situated on
Ludhiana-Malerkotla road, Jaghera is a famous pilgrim center of the Sikhs.
Both Guru Nanak Dev and
Guru Hargobind had visited this village. There is a beautiful pond considered sacred by the devotees. Guru Nanak had rested near this pond. Gurdwara Patshahi Chhevin is the major attraction. Thousands throng here during the major Sikh anniversaries.
